In a scene that seems straight out of a Disney movie, a unique and heartwarming friendship has blossomed at an animal refuge in Whitby. An abandoned baby fox named Phoebe has formed an unlikely bond with two orphaned badger cubs, Betty and Bella, captivating animal lovers everywhere.

Phoebe, a two-month-old fox cub, was brought to the shelter for care after being found alone and scared in a cardboard box in Leeds. The staff at the shelter faced a dilemma: they had no other foxes to pair her with, and they were concerned that Phoebe might become too dependent on humans for companionship and sustenance.
Determined to help her, the staff devised a daring plan—to introduce Phoebe to two young badger cubs who had also been orphaned. Betty and Bella, the badger cubs, had been found wandering the streets of Meltham, West Yorkshire, after their mother was tragically killed in a road accident.
