Shikhar Dhawan made his ODI debut in 2010, and then played his first test match in 2013.
He scored a fantastic 187 runs off just 174 balls in his Test debut in 2013 against Australia.
In 2017, Dhawan scored 190 runs off just 168 balls against Sri Lanka at the Galle test. India went on to win the test.
Shining at the World Cup
In the 2015 World Cup, Dhawan scored 137 runs off 146 balls against South Africa. He won the MOTM award and continued his heavy scoring prowess in the ICC tournaments.
Shikhar cemented his stay in the ODI team after a superb 114 off just 94 balls against South Africa in difficult conditions in Ireland. He followed this form in the ICC Champions trophy in that year, becoming the Man of the Tournament as India won the tournament.
This was another special inning by Dhawan where he took India home against England with a classy 97 off just 81 balls.
