He made the ultimate sacrifice by donating one of his kidneys to save his daughter’s life. Before the surgery, Maddy struggled daily, spending endless hours in hospitals and sleeping up to 18 hours a day. The doctors emphasized that finding a suitable donor was critical for Maddy’s survival and a chance at a normal life. Fortunately, her father was a perfect match!
The surgery was a tremendous success, and both Maddy and Paul made a full recovery. Overflowing with gratitude, Karen shared, “Daddy’s kidney has saved our little girl. Now, she has boundless energy. Her once-massive tummy now just looks a little bit rounded, and she is a happy and healthy two-year-old.”
Paul, a humble and selfless father, believes that any dad would have done the same for their child. He expressed, “We’ve been on an emotional rollercoaster, but donating my kidney to Maddy is simply what any father would do.
