Midas is a Russian Blue cat with not one, but two pairs of ears. While this might sound unbelievable, it’s very real. Despite her unusual feature, Midas leads a typical cat’s life, spending her days playing, napping, and cuddling with her two Labrador companions, Suzy and Zeyno.
A Heart-Shaped Patch and a Big Heart
In addition to her extra ears, Midas also has a distinctive heart-shaped white patch on her belly. Since joining Instagram, Midas has gained over 78K followers, all captivated by her unique look and sweet nature. Her extra ears are the result of a genetic mutation, but thankfully, they don’t negatively impact her health.
A Stray’s Journey to Stardom
Midas’s story began when her mother, a stray, gave birth to her and six siblings in a garden owned by a friend of Canis, who would later become Midas’s human owner. After discovering Midas, Canis and her partner adopted her, and soon after, they created an Instagram page to share her delightful quirks with the world.

Although Midas is healthy, she still requires extra health checkups to ensure there are no other genetic issues. Despite her unique appearance, Midas has adapted well to her new home, quickly settling into her surroundings.

Midas enjoys playing with her siblings, napping in cozy spots, and engaging with her toys. This playful feline is friendly with everyone she meets. While she tends to sleep during the day and stay awake at night, her favorite spot is on Canis’s chest or shoulder.
