Blog

Many of you will fondly remember the time when baby Cole played the adorable game of “Stick ‘Em Up!” It’s one of those heartwarming moments that continues to bring a smile to our faces, even over 12 years later. The cute video went viral, and it was one of the key moments that catapulted Cole and Marmalade into the spotlight. Without that memorable moment, things might have turned out very differently!

Recently, we discovered another black kitten from the other side of the world. Watching this happy little furball with her dad brightened our day, and we’re sure it will make you smile too!

Baby Cole Plays Stick ‘Em Up!

First, let’s take a trip down memory lane to when baby Cole and Jess played Stick ‘Em Up all those years ago in 2012. Back then, Cole was barely six weeks old, having been saved by a friend from a busy intersection in Florida. From the very beginning, Cole was incredibly smart and playful. As you can see in the video, he was all claws with oversized eyes and tufted ears.

As Jess tickled his belly and held up her hand, Cole instinctively spread his giant paws in the air and let out the cutest little meow. He was being playful, trying his best to look fierce, but the result was so comical it almost seemed like an animation. Cole was just that adorable and funny! It’s one of those cherished moments we’ll always remember.

Another Kitten Plays Stick ‘Em Up Across the World

Now, fast forward to August 7, 2024. Jess was scrolling through social media when, suddenly, it was as if baby Cole appeared on her feed again. Upon closer look, it was the ‘Stick ‘Em Up!’ game being played by an equally adorable, fluffy black kitten.

This time, it was a kitten named Busya from Russia! Seeing Busya play brought back such joyful memories, as the kitten mirrored baby Cole’s antics perfectly. Jess referred to it as “The next generation of freeze.”

Like Cole, Busya sported “airplane ears” and tried to look like a fierce little tiger for her dad, Nikolay. But with her oversized wide eyes and tiny toe beans, the attempt was irresistibly comical. Who could resist tickling that soft belly, despite the big claws?

“Happiness ❤️😻🤟,” shared Nikolay Palii.

Life is Just Better with Silly Cats (and Dragons)

Many have noted the resemblance between Busya and Toothless, the dragon from the classic film How to Train Your Dragon. The similarities are easy to see, and let’s be honest—who doesn’t love a dragon? Cats and dragons seem to share some magical qualities, don’t you think?

No matter where you are in the world, life is just better with our sweet, silly, and funny feline companions.

“Life is good, as they say! And living well is even better!” said Nikolay Palii.

Wishing a happy life to Busya and her dad, with many more magical meowmories to come!
