Introducing Cardamom and Mélange, a pair of one-year-old sister cats with charming personalities, currently in the care of Southern Arizona Cat Rescue. These inseparable kitties are seeking a family that would ideally adopt them together, although it’s not mandatory.
Here’s more about these delightful felines:
Cardamom Cardamom is a serene and affectionate cat. She is quick to purr and enjoys being petted, which easily activates her “purr motor.” While she appreciates her human interactions, she remains independent and not overly needy. Initially cautious, Cardamom gradually warms up to new situations. She delights in playing with wand toys and is exploring other types of play. Her favorite pastime is snuggling with her sister, Mélange.
She has cohabitated peacefully with other cats and can also adjust to well-behaved dogs and children if properly introduced. Cardamom and Mélange share a deep bond and would prefer to be adopted together, but it is not a strict requirement.
Healthwise, Cardamom is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
Mélange Mélange, sporting distinct calico markings with her white socks and chest blaze, mirrors her sister’s sweet disposition. She relishes affection and her purring is vigorous when petted. Mélange maintains a calm and self-sufficient demeanor, seeking attention occasionally without being clingy.
She is slightly hesitant with new experiences but adapts quickly. Mélange is currently learning to play with toys, but like Cardamom, her preferred activity is cuddling with her sister.
Mélange has also lived harmoniously with other cats and is likely to integrate well with respectful children and dogs following proper introductions.
Mélange is spayed, current on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Both she and her sister are house-trained and have no special needs.
